Fan Books
Welcome to the pages of our Nintendo dedicated serie of books that makes pixels speak with the passion of a collector and the rigor of a historian.
Our BIG N books focuses on quality articles—long-form and richly illustrated—rather than quantity. Each time, we bet on 4 to 6 feature articles that span numerous pages, packed with extensive anecdotes.
For both aesthetic and preservation purposes, we meticulously document objects in their entirety: box art, title screens, vintage advertisements, the interiors of accessories, and more.
The articles are organized around three main concepts:
The History of Nintendo. You will find, among other things, a section titled "Nintendo's Early Days," where we present all of Nintendo's "archaic" productions, from the Color TV-Game series to the company's arcade cabinets and toys.
The Games. We showcase iconic or lesser-known games through original and exhaustive analysis.
The Culture. In richly documented sections, we explore games through their various adaptations and/or inspirations. This is typically a "cross-media" section where you can discover cultural aspects related to the games—ones you probably weren't aware of. This includes detailed comparisons, references to film and literature, and much more.
